In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jacobs Lutheran Church, 840 Columbia Avenue, Chapin, SC 29036. Mrs. Lindler, widow of Berley C Lindler Sr., passed away Friday, September 14, 2007. Born in Peak, SC, January 21, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Hugh and Mattie Koon Eargle. Mrs. Lindler was a life member of the WELCA and Past President of the Order of the Eastern Star. She retired from the Lowman Home as Housekeeping Supervisor. She was a member of St. Jacobs Lutheran Church and past president of Up and Going. Mrs. Lindler was the loving mother of surviving sons, Alvin O'Neal Lindler (Chalma Rhyne) of Aiken; son, Berley C. Lindler Jr. (Mary Catherine) of Barnwell; brother, Alton Haskell Eargle of Little Mountain; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Junnie Darr "Buddy" Eargle, Ollie Eargle, Carroll Hugh Eargle and sister, Sarah Eargle Faulk.
