Description	:	Emma Holtman Succumbs, Rites Are Held Tuesday Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Shultz mortuary for Mrs. Emma L Holtman, 80, who succumbed Saturday in a Norfolk hospital where she had been confined nearly three weeks. Rev. E.J. Secker of Norfolk pronounced the last rites. Pallbearers were Leonard and Raymond Lehman, Tom Locke, Emil and Cecil Lallman and Adolf Holtman. Interment was in Stanton Cemetery. Born May 15, 1874 near Fontanelle, Nebr., Emma Louise was the daughter of August and Anna Lallman. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith by the Rev. Christian Sick of Fontanelle. On Oct. 15, 1903, she was united in marriage to William F. Holtman. The couple resided in Washington county most of their wedded life, moving to Stanton county in recent years. Mr. Holtman passed away Jan. 18, 1944. His widow had since made her home with their daughter, Mrs. Fred Hartman, in Stanton and was active until December. She had been hospitalized nineteen days. Survivors included six children: Irene (Mrs. Ira Ross) of Gibbon; Mrs. Norma Larson of Blair; Ervin of Low Moor, Ia.; Leona (Mrs. Walter Vahsholz) and Viola (Mrs. Fred Hartman), both of Stanton; Lester, Norfolk. Other Survivors and five grandchildren and a brother, Albert Lallman of Arlington. __________________ William and Emma are the parents of: Irene Louise b. February 24, 1905 d.
