Her funeral will be Friday at 10:30 a.m., MDT, in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Stanton, with burial in the church cemetery. She was born April 5, 1899, near Krem, north of Hazen, to Fred and Lydia Maas. She was reared and attended school in the Krem area. She married Fred Sailer April 12, 1917, in Krem. They farmed 12 miles northwest of Stanton until moving to Stanton in 1949. She worked for several years at the Stanton Café as a cook and boarded workers during the Garrison Dam construction. After her husband’s death in September 1978, she moved to Hazen. She moved to the Pioneer Park Retirement Home in November 1984. She was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Stanton. Survivors; sons, Edmer and Oscar, both Mandan, Ruben, Minot, Wilmer, Stanton, Levi, Hazen; daughters, Frieda Heine, Elsie Rathjen, and Edna Neuberger, all Hazen, Bernice Huff, Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, Darlene Kilber, Bismarck; 42 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, brother, Jake, Jamestown; sister, Rose Retzer, Oakes. Visitation will be today from 3 to 9 p.m.in Erdman Funeral Home, Beulah.
