She departed this life September 26, 1943, at St. Joseph's hospital in Concordia, at the age of 53 years, 5 months and 2 days. She lived her entire life in and near Glasco. As a child, she was baptized into the Lutheran faith. She was a very faithful member and guided her children in a Christian life. On April 26, 1910, she was united in marriage to Jesse Williams, who preceded her in death November 13, 1940. To this happy union six children were born, Lyle, Lewis, Melva, Eva, Jack, and Dean. All through her life she was a devoted wife and mother. The thoughts of those near and dear to her were always uppermost in her mind. She believed in a good education for her children. To know her was to love her. The deceased is survived by the six children, two grandchildren, Verna Del and Larry Lou Williams; four brothers, Lewis of Miller, South Dakota, Martin, Frank, and Amuel Olson, and one sister, Mrs. Alma Gruenthal of Glasco; and a host of other relatives and friends. (next was a poem written by her daughter, Eva) Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 o'clock p.m., Tuesday, September 28, at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Glasco, the Rev. George Eller of Beloit officiating. Interment was in Glasco cemetery.
