Description	:	Mrs. Edmund Wile 1923 The grim reaper has again appeared in our midst and removed Emma, wife of Edmund Wile, on March 29, 1923, aged 62 years. Her remains were laid to rest in the cemetery here on April 4th, they were held over, awaiting the arrival of a son and daughter from the United States. Deceased was suffering from a complication of diseases during the greater part of the winter, but was apparently regaining her strength, when a serious attack of influenza hastened the end. Read More	Mrs. Edmund Wile 1923 The grim reaper has again appeared in our midst and removed Emma, wife of Edmund Wile, on March 29, 1923, aged 62 years. Her remains were laid to rest in the cemetery here on April 4th, they were held over, awaiting the arrival of a son and daughter from the United States. Deceased was suffering from a complication of diseases during the greater part of the winter, but was apparently regaining her strength, when a serious attack of influenza hastened the end. Dr. Lindsay of New Germany was called and did all he could for the sufferer but to no avail, and death came as a happy release from suffering. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a kind neighbour, and she will be missed, not only in the home circle , but by everybody for she was a friend to all, never refusing to help any one who needed it. She was a member of the Congregational Church, but her pastor being sick, Rev. Knickle of New Germany visited her and ministered to her dying wants. He also officiated at the burial service on Wednesday morning taking as his text "Well done, good and faithful servant." She leaves to mourn their loss, an aged husband, three sons, James of Maine; and Alec and Henry, at home, also five daughters, Mrs. Aaron Crouse and Mrs. Howard Hirtle of West Clifford; Mrs. Howard Crouse of East Clifford; Mrs. Harrison Post of Massachusetts; and Myrtle, at home.
