On January 6, 1908 they moved to the farm Northwest of Hayesville where she lived the rest of her life. She attended Hayesville Community Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Henry, on January 19, 1952; two daughters, Carrie Yahn and Frances Hamilton; three brothers and one sister. Those left to mourn her passing are three sons, Henry Ellsworth Yahn of Richland; Herman Aaron Yahn of Clinton and Harold Coleman Yahn of Hayesville; one daughter, Mrs. Ivan (Mildred) Beach of Esterville; ten grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren."
