Miss Ruth West accompanied the double duet composed of Mrs. Lavon Neuhaus, Mrs. Joyce Kemper, Mrs. Charles Kent and Mrs. Joe Radosti. They sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere", "In the Garden" and "God Will Take Care of You". Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lyle, Marvin and Howard Johnson, Gerald Hale, Archie Kreycik and Marvin Kreycik. Wives of the pallbeareers were in charge of the flowere. They are grandchildren of the deceased. Mrs. Emma Vonasek was born in Pischelville, Nov. 19, 1878, the daughter of Frank and Marie Tuch. Her parents were pioneers in the community. She grew to womanhood in the Pischelville locality and as a young girl worked in a home in Niobrara. On March 27, 1901, she was united in marriage to Otto J. Vonasek at Niobrara. Two daughters, Thelma and Lydia, were born to this union. The couple lived near Pischelville for three years and in 1904 moved to another farm five miles northwest of Walnut. In 1948, Mr. and Mrs. Vonasek retired and moved to Verdigre where they resided until 1951 when they moved to Creighton to establish a home. She passed away at her home in Creighton, Sunday night June 13, at the age of 75. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. David Johnson of Creighton and Mrs. Clifford Hale of Wayne; three sisters, Mrs. Bessis Kreycik of Vassar, Manitoba, Canada, Mrs. Pauline Graham of Redbird and Mrs. Mary Dobrichovsky of Veridgre; two brothers, George Tuch of Lynch and Frank Tuch of Verdel; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Her husband, Otto, and two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Mulhair and Rose Tuch preceded her in death. Out of town relatives and friends attending the funeral were from Lebannon, Mo., Casper, Wyo., Carroll, Stanton, Wayne, Verdel, Verdigre, Niobrara, Plainview, Redbird, Star, Dorsey, Page, O'Neill, Lynch, Orchard and Venus.
