She leaves to mourn their loss, ten children- Enos and Jessie of Branch LaHave; Annie of Bridgewater; Ida of Baker Settlement; Guy, Archie, Minnie, Janie, Flo, and Etta of the United States; three sisters and three brothers; James, Watie, Ester, Amos, Harvey, and Lenli, all of Branch LaHave. One daughter, Lahlia and her two husbands, Nathaniel Bolivar and Harvey Meldrum predeceased her some years ago. She is also survived by a great number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. The funeral service, which was largely attended, was conducted by the Rev. Harold Hopper of New Canada on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home of her son, Enos, where the deceased had been living for some time. Hymns sung were "Asleep in Jesus," "Rock of Ages," and "Peace, Perfect Peace"; also a solo by Rev. Hopper. Interment was in the Brookside Cemetery at Bridgewater. With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse.
