The Johnston's came to California to be with their sons, Ross and Robert in the late 1920's, and settled in Santa Monica, Ca., eventually moving to San Diego and venturing into ranching. Children: Ross Darlington Johnston Robert Johnston Emmett and Maude Johnston were my great-grandparents.
