Description	:	Engeline was born on a farm north of Chancellor to Menno M. and Martha Elizabeth (Bellach) Plucker. She attended rural school and grew to womanhood there. Engeline married Frank Joe Meyer on Oct. 5, 1933 in Sioux Falls, SD. Frances Ellen, Marlene Phyllis and Harriet Elaine were born to this union. Following their marriage they farmed near Tea for five years and then moved to their farm north of Chancellor, where they continued farming until Aug. of 1984 when they moved into Lennox. Engeline married Frank Joe Meyer on Oct. 5, 1933 in Sioux Falls, SD. Frances Ellen, Marlene Phyllis and Harriet Elaine were born to this union. Following their marriage they farmed near Tea for five years and then moved to their farm north of Chancellor, where they continued farming until Aug. of 1984 when they moved into Lennox. Her husband preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 1985, thus ending a marriage partnership of over 52 years. She as an active and faithful member of Second Reformed Church of Lennox. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers: Menno M., Herman, Bert H., August, Enno D., and Ernest W. Plucker. Having been in failing health and recent hospitalization, Engeline died at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls on Jan. 25, 1987. Engeline attained the age of 82 years, 10 months and 7 days. Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Clarence (Frances) Smit of Lennox, Mrs. Donald (Marlene) Sinning of Sioux Falls, and Mrs. Kenneth (Harriet) Heeren of Humboldt; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one step-sister, Mrs. Tillie Ernst of Sibley, IA.
