Description	:	Enid Genevieve 'Cookie' (Hillman) Hale Enid Hale was born about 1915 in Mondamin, Iowa to Hugh Clare and Lena (Zaiser) Hillman. She grew up in the farming area near there known as Sandy Point. She graduated from Modale, Iowa High School in 1933. Enid married Lyle Hale, a farmer from Mondamin, Iowa. She was known as "Cookie"... Read More	Enid Genevieve 'Cookie' (Hillman) Hale Enid Hale was born about 1915 in Mondamin, Iowa to Hugh Clare and Lena (Zaiser) Hillman. She grew up in the farming area near there known as Sandy Point. She graduated from Modale, Iowa High School in 1933. Enid married Lyle Hale, a farmer from Mondamin, Iowa. They were blessed with two daughters. The couple farmed in the Modale area until March of 1975. Enid worked at the Blair Marina, Jakes Bar and Grill, Blair Fish Market and Perk's as a cook. She was known as "Cookie" in the Blair, Nebraska area. Enid enjoyed playing the piano, painting ceramics, crafts, quilting, gardening and raising flowers. Enid "Cookie" Hale passed away June 27 at Memorial Community Hospital & Health System in Blair, Nebraska. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 1 at 11 a.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Graveside Services will follow at the Magnolia Cemetery in Magnolia, Iowa. Visitation will be held Friday, June 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home. Enid is survived by her daughter, Carmen Schiltz; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded by her husband, Lyle; daughter, Patricia L. Stanzel; and three brothers: Donald C. Hillman, Fred A. Hillman, and O.E. Hillman.
