Description	:	Maryville Enterprise, 2/7/1923 Mr. Ephriam Endsley died of pneumonia Tuesday afternoon and was buried in the Friendsville cemetery. Maryville Times, 5 Feb 1923 On January 30th 1923 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, the death angel passed over this community and claimed as its victim Ephriam Endsley. Better known as "Uncle Ephriam." He was loved by all who knew him. He was converted when he was 20 years of age and joined the Friends church shortly after his conversion and was a live and active member thereafter. Uncle Ephriam was 58 years old, 48 years of which he lived a devoted christian life.... Uncle Ephriam will be missed by all who knew him, but our loss will be his gain, for we all know that his soul has gone to heaven to rejoice with the many loved ones that have gone on before him and to wait the great resurrection day when the soul and body will be reunited. Uncle Ephriam spent a great part of his life taking care of his brothers children. May God bless his nephews and niece who have so faithfully taken care of him in his last days.
