Description	:	Erasmo “Ras” Lischio, Jr., age 94 of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020. He was the loving husband of the late Helene (Cassidy) Lischio. He was the son of the late Erasmo Lischio, Sr. and Angela (Pagano) Lischio. Ras leaves two daughters, Diane Lischio of California and Cheryl Turk of Texas; three grandsons, David, Ian, and Jared. He was the brother of Rita Vargas, and the late Ralph Lischio, Paul Lischio, Mary Geitz, Michele Lischio, and Fred Lischio. He was the loving husband of the late Helene (Cassidy) Lischio. He was the son of the late Erasmo Lischio, Sr. and Angela (Pagano) Lischio. Ras leaves two daughters, Diane Lischio of California and Cheryl Turk of Texas; three grandsons, David, Ian, and Jared. He was the brother of Rita Vargas, and the late Ralph Lischio, Paul Lischio, Mary Geitz, Michele Lischio, and Fred Lischio. Ras’s family was the first Italian immigrant family to move to North Kingstown. He and his 6 siblings went on to become successful & respected members of their community, Ras as the owner of the Colonial Package Store for over 40 years. He was a proud Navy veteran of World War II. One of the highlights of his later years was a trip to Washington DC as part of the Honor Flight Program. Ras enjoyed all things sports but especially his Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and, of course, golf. He loved the island of Jamestown and took enormous pride in his waterfront home on its North End. Above all, Ras loved his family & friends and valued the time spent making beautiful memories. Due to current health concerns, funeral services will be held at a later date when it is safe to gather.
