Description	:	Obituary: Mrs. Erbie Reed, 84, Argos, died at 10:05 p.m. Thursday at Parkview hospital, Plymouth, following a two-year illness. She was born Aug. 29, 1894 in Kosciusko county to Sylvanius and Nancy McPherson Weaver and had lived in Argos for seven years, moving from her farm residence. Her first marriage was in 1915 to Raymond Metzger, who died in 1922. Her second marriage was Feb. 21, 1955 in Warsaw to Elson Reed, who survives. Surviving with the husband are two daughters, Mrs. Eunice Jamison, Claypool and Mrs. Eugene (Marjorie) Cauffman, Trenton, Ky.; five step-daughters, Mrs. Betty Hall, Bourbon; Mrs. Virginia Harmoe, Roann; Mrs. Mary Alice Gensinger, Plymouth; Mrs. Lucille Jones, Argos, and Mrs. Joan Hudson, Huntington Beach, Cal.; a step-son, Roy Reed, Lapaz; eight grandchildren; twenty-five step-grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; eighteen step-great-grandchildren a great-great-grandchild, and two sisters, Mrs. Cora Kulf and Mrs. Minnie Kling, both of Columbia City. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Walnut Church of the Brethren with the Rev. W. B. Gehm officiating. Burial will be in the Eel River cemetery, east of Silver Lake. Friends may call at the Grossman funeral home, Argos, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and at the church an hour prior to service Sunday.
