Description	:	Eric immigrated to the U.S. in 1882. His parents Olaf "Ole" and Christina Borg also came and settled in Holt county, NE. Eric married Anna Bergstrom around 1893. They farmed prosperously in Holt county and had three children: Axel Bert, Ruth Christine (married Charles Griffith) and one that died before 1900. In March 1908, Eric was shot by an intoxicated John Price, who worked for Eric. The shooting was near his heart and it was thought he might die but recovered.
