Floyd and Erma loved attending dances at Sokol Hall. Together, with their daughter Marcie, they enjoyed traveling. Erma worked 41 1/2 years as a Reading Teacher. She inspired generations of students at Valley View Junior High, and Westside Middle School in District 66. She was involved in her teaching sorority, Alpha Delta Kappa, and volunteered with Girl Scouts. She was a devoted sister, mother, daughter, grandmother, and friend. She always had positive words to share, a beautiful smile, and patience to listen and lend a helping hand. She treasured reading with her grandchildren. Family, faith, friendships, and her school community were held dear to her heart. Erma will be forever remembered and loved. Erma is preceded in death by spouse, Floyd Schnegelberger; and parents: Leonard Tejral and Agnes Scharf Tejral. She is survived by her daughter, Marcie Schnegelberger and son-in-law, Mike L. Johnson and grandsons, Michael Ronin and Kodiak, all of Molalla, OR; and her brothers: David Tejral, of Genoa, NE, and Leroy Tejral, of Beatrice, NE. Services will be held at a later date back in Omaha, Nebraska. She will be laid to rest with her husband, Floyd, at Lyons Cemetery this summer.
