Description	:	Erma Alma Damschen went home to be with the Lord on December 13, 2013. Born September 1, 1913 on her families homestead in Winnett, Montana to Ernest and and Una Hansen. Erma had three brothers, Wesley, Arnold, and Archie and two sisters, Ona and Hazel. She graduated from Winnett High School in 1932 and was married to Floyd Arnold Damschen soon after. Born September 1, 1913 on her families homestead in Winnett, Montana to Ernest and and Una Hansen. Erma had three brothers, Wesley, Arnold, and Archie and two sisters, Ona and Hazel. She graduated from Winnett High School in 1932 and was married to Floyd Arnold Damschen soon after. Floyd and Erma raised three sons, Floyd Eugene "Gene", Robert, and Kenneth in Montana while Floyd worked for the Milwaukee Railroad. Erma worked for the School Lunch Program in Lewistown, Montana receiving awards from the state for being able to use the commodities most efficiently, preparing meals that were enjoyed by staff and students alike. Floyd and Erma moved to Chico in 1982 to be near their sons, Bobby and Gene. Erma loved to collect and tend beautiful Iris bulbs. She was an accomplished artist and truly enjoyed meeting weekly with her art class at Casa de Flores Mobile Home Park. She loved to cook and created recipes which won her awards. Erma was an accomplished seamstress which came in handy. During The Depression she would purchase second hand clothing and remake them to fit her three growing boys. Erma was predeceased by her husband, brothers and one sister, her sons Robert and Kenneth and two grandsons Kevin Damschen and Shaun Damschen and one great grandson Jared Damschen. She is survived by her sister Hazel Stoutenburg of Burney, CA, her son Floyd Eugene Damschen of Chico, grandchildren Warren Damschen of Washington State, Hope Sukut, Faith Bevis, and Cara Morrison of Montana, Randy Damschen of Missouri and Terri Akers of Paradise, CA, 15 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
