She married Earl Keizer on January 8, 1942, and spent her married life in Porter's Lake before moving to Musquodoboit Harbour in 1980 to live with her daughter Marilyn and family. She was a founding member of St. Mark's Anglican Church Alter Guild, Porter's Lake. She was also an active member of Porter's Lake Seniors Club and Harbour Lites Seniors Club in Musquodoboit Harbour. She married Earl Keizer on January 8, 1942, and spent her married life in Porter's Lake before moving to Musquodoboit Harbour in 1980 to live with her daughter Marilyn and family. She was a founding member of St. Mark's Anglican Church Alter Guild, Porter's Lake. She was also an active member of Porter's Lake Seniors Club and Harbour Lites Seniors Club in Musquodoboit Harbour. She and five friends (Jean, Olive, Jean, Isabell and Jean) formed the 'Golden Girls Auction 45's Friday night card group' and spent many enjoyable evenings together. Her interests were going for drives, playing cards, bowling and most of all listening and dancing to fiddle music. She leaves to mourn daughter, Marilyn (William) Bennet; grandson, Rick (Ann), Musquodoboit Harbour; granddaughter, Margaret (Frank Peel), Aylesford; great-grandchildren, Nicole, Kathie-Lee, Matthew and Nicholas; sister, Elsie Graham, who was an angel to her during her last weeks; sisters- in-law, Helen Crawford, Dorothy Crawford, both of East Chezzetcook; Lila Crawford, Vancouver; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Earl (1981); grandson, Dale (1987); sister, Eva MacDonald; brothers, George, Harold, Allison and Walter.
