Casket bearers to the final resting place in Greenwood cemetery were Glen and Loren Fenneman, Lorris Mack, Alion Albers, Merle Mack and Warren Griffin, all nephews. * * * Ernest August Klinehart had reached the age of 70 years, three months and 10 days. He was born December 16, 1894, near Ionia in Chickasaw County, the son of John and Amelia Korth Klinehart. He was baptized Feb. 3, 1895, in his parents' home, Ionia, by Rev. Albert Guetzlaff. On March 20, 1910, he was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Immanuel Lutheran church at Ionia by Rev. Duerchner. He was united in marriage with Martha Mack on Nov. 25, 1920, at St. Johns Lutheran church near Williamstown, by Rev. Christian Mack. He attended rural school in Chickasaw county and was a member of St. John Lutheran church at Nashua, Iowa. His activities had been limited since January 1962 when he suffered a heart attack. He is survived by his wife and two children, Verna, Mrs. Leighton Idler, Charles City; Roy of Cedar Falls and four grandchildren, Connie and Julie Idler; Mark and Lori Klinehart. Also by two sisters, Mrs. Henry Mack, Ionia, and Mrs. Fred Albers, Nashua. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mrs. Edward Fenneman.
