Description	:	Born Ernst Bernhard Petersson in the village of Risingen, Vissefjärda Parish, Kalmar, Sweden. He was the 9th and youngest child of Peter Petersson and Ingrid Beata Niklasdr. Mr. Ringnell had been a dentist in Center Point for twenty-five years. When nine months old he suffered a severe attack of scarlet fever which destroyed his hearing and power of speech. Read More	Born Ernst Bernhard Petersson in the village of Risingen, Vissefjärda Parish, Kalmar, Sweden. He was the 9th and youngest child of Peter Petersson and Ingrid Beata Niklasdr. Mr. Ringnell had been a dentist in Center Point for twenty-five years. When nine months old he suffered a severe attack of scarlet fever which destroyed his hearing and power of speech. In the fall of that year Dr. Ringnell entered the Minnesota state school for the deaf from which he was graduated eight years later. He also attended Gallaudet college in Washington, D.C., the University of Minnesota and the University of Iowa. He married Tresa Guynn in 1911. He was survived by his wife and his 5-year old daughter, Mabel.
