Description	:	Ernest Edward Keddy 1980 Bridgewater Bulletin Ernest Edward Keddy, of North West, passed away on Monday, August 11, 1980, at the Fishermen's Memorial Hospital. He was born at North West July 31, 1910 and was the only son of the late Alfred and Eva (Eisenhauer) Keddy. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Mahone Bay and served on the Church Council for a number of years. He worked for the Town of Lunenburg for many years until his retirement about four years ago. He was a faithful and devoted brother and will be greatly missed in his home. Surviving are four... Read More	Ernest Edward Keddy 1980 Bridgewater Bulletin Ernest Edward Keddy, of North West, passed away on Monday, August 11, 1980, at the Fishermen's Memorial Hospital. He was born at North West July 31, 1910 and was the only son of the late Alfred and Eva (Eisenhauer) Keddy. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Mahone Bay and served on the Church Council for a number of years. He worked for the Town of Lunenburg for many years until his retirement about four years ago. He was a faithful and devoted brother and will be greatly missed in his home. Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Beulah MacDonald of Lunenburg; Mrs. Olive Daurie of North West; Verna, at home; and Luella (Mrs. Moyle Dauphinee) of Lunenburg; two nephews, Lowell Daurie, Centre; and Winnfred Daurie, North West; four nieces, Betty Dauphinee, Montreal; Ruth Dauphinee, Lunenburg; Nancy (Mrs. Richard Sider), Amherst; and Wendy (Mrs. Douglas Keddy), Fauxburg. The body rested at the Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone bay. Funeral service was held August 13 at 2:30 p.m. in St. John's Lutheran Church, Mahone Bay with Pastor George Wawin officiating. Hymns sung were "Amazing Grace," "In the Hour of Trial," and "What A Friend we Have in Jesus." The pallbearers were Urban Eisenhauer, Morse Eisenhauer, Earl Dauphinee, Gilbert Wentzell, Starr Cantelope, and Owen Cantelope. Interment was in the North West Cemetery. Thanks to Rosemary Rafuse
