Born in Union, S.C. he was the husband of Lori Moss Bobo and son of the late Ernest Marshall Bobo, Sr. and Lena Lawson Bobo. He was a graduate of Union High School and attended Spartanburg Technical College. He retired as store manager of Ingles and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Travis Bobo and wife, Lani, of Boiling Springs, S.C.; two daughters, Brooke Owens and husband, Brandon, of Boiling Springs, S.C. and Tara Bobo of Gaffney; a stepdaughter, Taylor Smith of Pacolet, S.C.; a sister, Brenda Wilkins and husband, Bob, of Union; ten grandchildren, Olivia Bobo, Mary Grace Bobo, Loren Potter, John Owens, Claire Owens, Camden Owens, Bailey Kerr, Colton Poteat, Gabe Davis and Ava Grace Bobo. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Benny Green officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, Ca. 90266.
