Description	:	Hemingway---Ernest McLaurin Joye Jr., 42, of Hemingway, died at home Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church by Rev. C. H. Beard and Rev. Charles Moore. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home, will be in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Odom, Louie B. Lawrimore, Ernest Poston, Clarence Haselden, William Chandlet, Jr. and Allen Crier. He was a graduate of Hemingway High School and Palmer Business College of Columbia. He was a coin broker. Surviving besides his mother are his wife, Mrs. Lillian Fenters Joye of the home; two daughters, Miss Mary Cynthia Joye of Hemingway and Mrs. Deborah Hanna of Kingstree; two sisters, Mrs. James V. Wood and Mrs. Laverne Rodgers, both of Columbia; four brothers, Home Joye, Douglas Joye, Johnny Joye, all of Hemingway, and W. L. Joye of Columbia; and a grandson.
