Read More	Gaffney Ledger obituary 5 May, 2015 Ernest "Junior" Nesbitt Spencer, Jr., 70, of 134 Phillips Lane, Gaffney, S.C. went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Ernest Nesbitt Spencer Sr. and Nanniette Pinson Spencer. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in the Vietnam War. He was retired from James Clarkson Electrical, was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed dirt track racing. He was a member of El Bethel Baptist Church. Surviving is a son, Daniel Spencer of Gaffney; a brother, Douglas Spencer and wife, Jackie of Gaffney; two sisters, Frontis Donahue and husband, Sidney of Landis, N.C. and Dianne Mullinax of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Kyle Calderon and Luke Calderon. Mr. Spencer was preceded in death by a daughter, Wendy Calderon; and two sisters, Jessie Broughton and Katherine Spencer. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Blakely Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Shriners Hospital, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, S.C., 29605. The family will be at the home of his sister, Dianne Mullinax, 134 Phillips Lane.
