Born in Pittsylvania County, Va.,he was a son of the late Nathan Thomas and Julia Catherine George Adams. Mr. Adams was owner and operator of Adams Upholstery on White Horse Road in Greenville for 37 years, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Born in Pittsylvania County, Va.,he was a son of the late Nathan Thomas and Julia Catherine George Adams. Mr. Adams was owner and operator of Adams Upholstery on White Horse Road in Greenville for 37 years, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Siloam Baptist Church, where he belonged to the Fifty and Up Sunday School Class. Surviving are his wife, Ruby Coleman Adams, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ernest Dewitt and Linda Adams, of Piedmont, and David Daniel and Jeannie Adams, of Greenville; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Norman Wilson, of Piedmont; a sister, Lula Doss, of Emporia, Va.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Adams was predeceased by his first wife, Kathryn Cason Adams; a son; four brothers; and five sisters. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home in Easley, with the Rev. Dr. Donald Dunavant officiating. Burial will be at Graceland West Cemetery in Greenville. Escort of Honor will be the Fifty and Up Sunday School Class of Siloam Baptist Church. The body is at Robinson Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends tonight, from 6 to 8.
