Description	:	Ernest Jensen died January 1st The funeral for Ernest W. Jensen was held Monday at 2 p.m. in Nazareth Lutheran Church with Rev. Don Burton and Intern Peter Olsen officiating. Mr. Jensen passed away in the Kenmare hospital on Friday, January 1st at the age of 84 years. During the services Mrs. Joan Larson was organist and Mrs. Julie Burton sang. Pallbearers were Merlin Dahlin, Ralph Melin, Albert Brown, Helmer Nygaard, Art Anderson and John Odland. At age 8, he came with his family to a farm northeast of Kenmare, where he was reared. He married Rhodine Nelsen Oct. 15, 1919, at Kenmare. They lived on his family's farm until 1949, when they moved to Kenmare. In 1961 he retired from active farming. Mrs. Jensen died in November 1973. He had served on the Norma town, school and elevator boards and the Fairbanks District of the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service, all in Renville County. He was a member of Nazareth Church. Surviving are sons, Kenneth, Kenmare and Duane, Colorado Springs, Colo.; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Gladys) Larsen, Billings, Mont.; eight grandchildren; a brother, Alfred, Bismarck; and sisters, Mrs. Gertie Hanson, Kenmare, and Mrs. Agnes Wadeson, Glendale, Calif.
