Mr. Holdermann, a former prominent merchant in Wabash had been ill with complications for the past four months. He had also been confined to the Methodist hospital in Indianapolis during his illness. Mr. Holdermann, a former prominent merchant in Wabash had been ill with complications for the past four months. He had also been confined to the Methodist hospital in Indianapolis during his illness. Mr. Holdermann was a native of Wabash, born July 21, 1873. He first entered the dry goods business when a young man with the Fawley-Holdermann Dry Goods store on East Market street. Later he established the Holdermann Dry Goods store on West Canal street where the present P.K. store is situated. For the past nine years he had been a member of the public welfare staff of this county. He was a former deacon in the Presbyterian church and an active member of the Masonic lodge. His parents were Louis F. and Elizabeth (Sifert) Holdermann. His marriage to Henrietta Peterson took place June 14, 1888. She preceded him in death Sept. 21, 1935. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dwayne Miller, Lafayette, and Mrs. Allen Glazier, Wabash, three grandchildren, one brother, Edgar G. Holdermann, Wabash, and one sister, Mrs. P.H. Danihy, Bluffton. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon in the Jones Funeral home at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Ware W. Wimberly will conduct the services and burial will be in Falls cemetery. The body has been taken to the Jones funeral home where friends may call.
