Description	:	Ervin Alfred Kenitzer was born 4 Nov 1913 in rural Reeder, Adams Co., ND to John Frederick Kenitzer and Mary Voss. He grew up there and attended school at Whetstone Twp School. He began working with his parents at an early age and in his youth was active in Zion Lutheran Chruch, Reeder. On 20 Jan 1944, he was united in marriage to Lois Maxine Carroll at the Zion Lutheran Parsonage in Hettinger, ND. Read More	Ervin Alfred Kenitzer was born 4 Nov 1913 in rural Reeder, Adams Co., ND to John Frederick Kenitzer and Mary Voss. He grew up there and attended school at Whetstone Twp School. He began working with his parents at an early age and in his youth was active in Zion Lutheran Chruch, Reeder. On 20 Jan 1944, he was united in marriage to Lois Maxine Carroll at the Zion Lutheran Parsonage in Hettinger, ND. They began their life together on his place southwest of Bucyrus where they raised their family. Ervin continued to farm and ranch for 54 years until retiring in 1998. They retired to live in Reeder. Ervin loved the farm and ranch life, especially working with horses and his cattle. He enjoyed fishing as well. Ervin died 16 Aug 2000 in Hettinger, ND. He was the last of his family, and was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Herman and Art Kenitzer; and sisters, Bertha Munro and Alvina Baumann Trzynka. Ervin was survived by his wife, Lois, of Reeder; son and daughter in law, Harvey John & Sharon Faye Kenitzer of Polson, MT; daughter and son in law, Kathleen Faye & Jerome Roger Boschee, of Glen Ullin, ND; 2 granddaughters, Shelly (Joseph) Quinn and Kayla Boschee; two great granddaughters, Jordan and Dylan Quinn; many nieces and nephews.
