Navy in South Carolina, and four daughters, Mrs. Mary Williams, Hillsville; Mrs. Belva Sharp, Woodlawn; Mrs. Hazel Jennings, Rt. 4, Galax, and Mrs. Faye Davidson, Bartley, W. Va. Funeral services were held at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral home, GaIax, Sunday at 11 a. m by the Rev. Lonnie P. Shaw, Galax; the Rev. Otte Utt, pastor of the First Church of the Brethren, Galax; the Rev. Wiley Neal, pastor of the Woodlawn Methodist circuit, and the Rev. Mr. Akers, of Austinville. Interment followed in Felts cemetery. Galax Gazette, Galax, Va., Monday, September 6, 1954
