Description	:	Shambaugh (Special) Mrs Jacob Hamm died Saturday night at the home of her nephew, Walter Huff at Wilcox, Mo. She will be buried Tuesday afternoon here beside the remains of her husband, who died Jan 22 at the age of 99. Mrs Hamm was 88, her 89th birthday June 2. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon at the Walker Funeral Home in Clarinda, and burial will be in Butler cemetery west of Shambaugh. Since her husband's death she has been at the home her nephew, where a recent attack of flu reduced her resistance to age infirmities. She helped raise two nephews and a niece, and besides these is survived by three stepdaughters, Mrs Nellie Calhoon of Shambaugh, Mrs Anna Farnsworth of Westboro, Mo, and Mrs Elsie Perry of Shambaugh. Mrs Hamm, whose name was Estella Hamm the daughter of Charles and Sarah Cook of Van Buren county, Mich. She came to Page county when quite young, and her marriage to Jacob Hamm took place near Shambaugh, Nov 24, 1887. The Hamms farmed near Shambaugh until recent years, which they have spent in the town.
