She was born on December 7, 1926 in Corning, Kansas, the daughter of George Edward and Estella Bernice Gallaher TenEyck. The family moved to Walton in 1936. Read More	Gail Boese - December 07, 1926 - June 26, 2018  Estella Gail Boese, 91, died Tuesday (June 26, 2018) at the Newton Presbyterian Manor. She was born on December 7, 1926 in Corning, Kansas, the daughter of George Edward and Estella Bernice Gallaher TenEyck. The family moved to Walton in 1936. Gail graduated from North High School in Wichita in 1944. Everyone in Gail's family had nicknames. Hers was "Chubb". Even later on her daughters would each have nicknames. She married Warren G. Boese in the parlor of her "mom" and "pops" farm in Walton. After they were married Gail and Warren lived in Newton and El Dorado before returning to Walton in 1966. While in El Dorado they operated the Dairy Queen for six years. In Newton, Gail had been a Ward Clerk at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital. She also helped care for her parents in their final years. "Chubb" is survived by her four daughters, a brother, four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Warren on May 31, 2008, sisters Delia Bernice "Punk" Moore, Edith Louise "Possum" Hetzel, Mary Jean "Teence" Tuttle, and her brother, George Robert "Budd" TenEyck. A memorial service was held Saturday, June 30, 2018, at the Walton United Methodist Church in Walton, Kansas.
