Description	:	Osceola Tribune (Iowa) Tuesday - October 29th, 1963 Mrs. Otho Griffin Died Here Thurs. Mrs. Estella Vesta Griffin, wife of Otho Griffin, died at her home in Osceola, Thursday, Oct. 24. She had been in ill health for some time. Services for Mrs. Griffin were held at the Webster Funeral home Monday, October 28 with Rev. L.V. Fardon, pastor of Calvary Baptist church, officiating. She had been in ill health for some time. Services for Mrs. Griffin were held at the Webster Funeral home Monday, October 28 with Rev. L.V. Fardon, pastor of Calvary Baptist church, officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill cemetery. Mrs. Griffin was born in Kossuth county near Titonka on August 28, 1897, a daughter of Oscar P. and Minnie Wagner Cellman. She came to Osceola with her parents in 1902 and was educated in the Clarke county schools. She was a member of the Garden club and Calvary Baptist church. On December 23, 1919 she was married to Otho Griffin. Two daughters were born to them, Mrs. M.E. (Virginia) Uyanik of Raleigh, N.C., and Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Kerr of Los Angeles. Besides her husband and children, Mrs. Griffin is survived by four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Walter Beymer and Mrs. Vern McCartney of Osceola and Mrs. Ed Agans of Albia; and one brother, Osmer Cellman of Sigourney.
