FRANK SHEPARD Edgewood, la.—Special: Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the home for Mrs. Frank Shepard whose death occurred Thursday afternoon following a brief illness. The Rev. F. O. May Lain was born May 8, 1871 in th is vicinity where her entire life had been spent. She was married to Charles Henry Orcutt 25 years ago and to this union a daughter, Blanche Emily was born. Both the daughter and father have died, the former Feb. I, 1919 and Mr. Orcutt April 5, 1930. On June 15, 1932 she and Frank Shepard were married and the home continued in Edgewood. Surviving besides her husband are three brothers and one sister, Ernest Q. Lain of Oklahoma; Worthy LeRoy of Wisconsin and Mrs. Cora Gorham of Pinceton, la., and Charles Lain of Davenport.
