Chase was communicated from the home of her son, Herman Chase, were she and her husband have been living since March. She has suffered for years but was bed-fast only a few days. She bore her afflictions with such Christian patience and faced death so bravely that expressed her desire and willingness to pass from this world. Chase was communicated from the home of her son, Herman Chase, were she and her husband have been living since March. She has suffered for years but was bed-fast only a few days. She bore her afflictions with such Christian patience and faced death so bravely that expressed her desire and willingness to pass from this world. She lived to the ripe age of seventy-seven and during her stay in Colorado won the love of everyone whom she met. Interment will be in Armel Cemetery. The arrangements are not fully made, awaiting the arrival of a son from Ohio. The deepest sympathy of the community is extended to Mr. Chase and family in the darkest hour of their bereavement. Ester is buried in Armel Cemetery in Armel, Colorado, Jacob Armstrong Winn, who was the father of the wife of John M. Chase, died in Meigs County, Ohio, June 9, 1858. Her mother, whose maiden name was Julia Nobles, was a daughter of Shubal Nobles, who came to Rutland township, Meigs County, among its pioneer settlers in 1804, bringing this daughter with him.
