Excerpt -- Esther Anna Livingston Cole, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Livingston, was born in Knox County, Ill., Oct. 2, 1864, and died July 25, aged 73 years, 9 months, and 23 days. She was united in marrriage to Virgil Cole in 1887. To this union nine children were born: Charlie, Mary, Mabel, Asa, Virgil, Inez, Elisha, John and Marie; all are living except Virgil and Inez. Excerpt -- Esther Anna Livingston Cole, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Livingston, was born in Knox County, Ill., Oct. 2, 1864, and died July 25, aged 73 years, 9 months, and 23 days. She was united in marrriage to Virgil Cole in 1887. To this union nine children were born: Charlie, Mary, Mabel, Asa, Virgil, Inez, Elisha, John and Marie; all are living except Virgil and Inez. Her husband preceded her in death on Jan. 17, 1928. Mrs. Cole moved with her husband from Knox County, Ill., to Nebraska in the spring of 1894 to their home 4 1/2 miles northwest of Burchard, Neb. where she lived for 43 years. She had been in failing health since last February. She leaves seven children, all living at home except Mabel, who is a nurse in Monroe, Wis. There are also four grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the home on July 28 in charge of the Rev. R. E. Martin of the Burchard Methodist Church. Interment was in the family lot in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
