Description	:	Esther was the daughter of William M. and Deborah (Mendenhall) Gordon. She married Nathan T. Frame in 1857 and they were the parents of three children: Hiram M., Itasca M., and Hattie Corrinne. (Note: Death certificate has birth as July 11, 1845, not sure that is correct.) June 17, 1920 - Word have been received by friends her of the death of Mrs. Esther Gordon Frame, on June 11, in El Paso at the home of her daughter, Dr. H. C. McCarthy. Mrs. Frame made her home here for a number of years, during the latter years of her husband's life time and the residence here of her daughter, Mrs. E. O. Wooten, whose husband was head of the department of biology and geology at State college for nearly 20 years. During the winter of 1918-1919, Mrs. Wooton, accompanied by her daughter, Esther, returned to the old home here with her mother for rest and quiet on account of the mother's impaired health. Since last September Mrs. Frame has been in El Paso with Mrs. McCarthy. Mrs. Frame was a minister of the Friends church for over 40 years. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wooton, Washington, D.C. and Mrs. McCarthy of El Paso; one grandson, Stanley Johnson and a granddaughter, Esther Wooton. The body was taken to Jamestown, Ohio for burial.
