Drazic, 72 years of age, of Lincoln formerly of Wymore, Nebraska died on Sunday evening, May 1, 2005 at St. Elizabeth’s Regional Medical Center of Lincoln Nebraska. She was born on January 16, 1933 at Fremont, Nebraska. She married Joseph Drazic on May 18, 1960 at Immanuel Lutheran Church of rural Sterling, Nebraska. She worked as a midwife and cared for the sick for many years. She was a nurse aid for several years at the Geneva General Hospital and then at the Beatrice Good Samaritan Center. She was a receptionist for funeral homes in Syracuse, Tecumseh and Sterling for 10 years. She moved to Wymore in 1982 and lived there until moving to Lincoln. She is a former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of rural Sterling, Nebraska where she served as organist, St. Paul Lutheran Church of Beatrice where she was a member of LWML and Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Wymore. She also attended the Berean Church of Lincoln, Nebraska and enjoyed the chapel services at the Ambassador. Survivors include one son, David Drazic of Lincoln, Nebraska. One daughter, Mary Steelman and her husband Orie of Columbia, Missouri. Three grandchildren. One sister-in-law, Elaine Williams of Sterling, Nebraska. Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Huls Williams, her husband Joseph who died on October 5, 1990 and one brother Raymon Williams. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2005 at 1:30 P.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church of rural Sterling, Nebraska with Pastor Harold Hinzman officiating. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery of rural Sterling, Nebraska. A family prayer service will be held on Saturday at 1:15 P.M. in the fellowship room of the church. The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice, Nebraska from 8:00 A.M. Thursday until 9:00 P.M. Friday and then on Saturday at the church one hour preceding the services. A memorial has been established to the family’s choice with the Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice, Nebraska in charge. A guestbook for signatures and messages of condolence is also available online at www.foxfuneralhome.net. Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice, Nebraska in charge of arrangements.
