Vernon Morrison officiating. Burial will be in the Ashton Cemetery. The Bryson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Esther Mann was born in LaPrairie Township on Nov. 7, 1895. She spent her entire life in Spink County. She was married to Otto A. Clausen in Brentford on June 2, 1920. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. John (Evelyn) Forbes, Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons, Don, Ashton, and Arnold, Aberdeen; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Rachel Orr, Brentford; and one brother, Frank Mann, Westminster, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1955, and one son. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, No. 46; Ruth Rebekah Lodge No. 6; American Legion Auxiliary; United Methodist Church, and WSCS, all of Ashton. Friends may call at the Bryson Funeral Chapel from 8:30 p.m. Wednesday until 9:30 a.m. Friday, and the church prior to the service.
