The service will be 11 a.m. Jan. 17 at St. Jacobs United Church of Christ, York New Salem. Burial will be private in St Jacob's Union Cemetery. The Baumeister, Orcutt & Small Mortuaries Inc., South Queen and Jackson streets, York, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Snyder was born Nov. 4, 1897, in York New Salem. She and her husband owned and operated the former Snyder's Ice Cream Store and she had also worked at the former Bear's Department Store. She was the oldest living member, more than 80 years, of St. Jacobs United Church of Christ in York New Salem. She was also a member of the Garden Club of York, the Needlework Guild and had been an active volunteer at the York Hospital. Mrs. Snyder is survived by a son, Frederick E. Snyder of York; two granddaughters; and five great-grandchildren. Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Curtis E. Whitman.
