Description	:	Esther Thomsen, 94, of Kearney, formerly of Minden, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at Well Life in Kearney. Services were held Monday at Minden United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Bill Hunter officiating. She was born Nov. 3, 1910, in Kearney County near Heartwell to W.A. "Stub" and Lucy (Ellis) Morris. On June 2, 1929, she married Myner Thomsen. He died in 1973. The family lived in Minden, moved to Idaho for a short time and then returned to Minden. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Minden for more than 80 years. The church was a very important part of her life. She was active in the prayer group of the church and the women's circle. She stayed very active with her life. She volunteered at the Senior Citizens Center for many years in Minden. She also was a member of the extension club. She made many fancywork pieces for her family and friends. She was very neat and meticulous and was a kind and caring person. She enjoyed her family, and they were most important in her life. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers.
