Description	:	Esther Kilber Younker Reinschmidt, 92, passed away June 17, 2014, at Knife River Care Center, Beulah. Services will be held at 2:00 PM CDT, Friday, June 20, 2014, at Concordia Lutheran Church, Beulah, with the Rev. Kirk Peters officiating. Burial will follow at the Beulah Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Esther Susanna Kilber was born October 10, 1921, to Leonard and Karolina (Baszler) Kilber at their farm near Mannhaven, ND. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Stanton. Esther met Gus Younker at a dance in Beulah. After Gus joined the Navy during World War II, Esther moved to Seattle and worked as a waitress. When Gus returned from serving on the USS Osage in the Pacific, they were married on December 9, 1945, in Stanton. After briefly living in Renton, Washington, they settled in Beulah, where they raised three daughters. Esther worked at the Beulah Cash Store for several years. She and Gus enjoyed dancing on Saturday nights at the Sheep Shed. Esther sewed all the clothes for herself and her three little girls. Gus passed away in 1966. On December 30, 1967, Esther married Roy Reinschmidt. Roy passed away in 2001. In addition to sewing, Esther enjoyed quilting and other crafts. She loved gardening, bingo, eating out, her cat, "Boots", trips to the casino, and being with her family. She was a loving grandma who always had a drawer of treats and plenty of hugs and kisses. Her family will miss mornings gathered around her table for coffee. She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law: Barbara and David Miller, Jamestown, Shirley and Bill Zinsli, Beulah, and Sharon and Rick Tabert, Dickinson; seven grandchildren; Cynthia (Sean Beaton) Miller, Brent (Jaime) Miller, Aaron Miller, Marcus Hamby, Derek Hamby, Cami (Jamie) Havelka, and Corey (Kristy) Tabert; three step-grandchildren, Marty (Gretchen) Zinsli, Jenny and Perry Zinsli; six great-grandchildren, Faythlynn Havelka, Jaxon Tabert, Samuel and Alexander Miller, Gustave and Susanna Beaton; three step-great-grandchildren, Emma, Ayanna, and Trenton; sister, Leona Isaak; brother, Nestor (Jeanette) Kilber; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Gus and Roy, one step granddaughter, Angela Zinsli; sister, Frieda Miller, and brothers, Ed, Ruben, Eldor, Bernard, Wally, and Calvin; numerous sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law. The family prefers memorials to be sent to Sakakawea Hospice, 510 8th Ave. NE, Hazen, ND 58545 or Mercer County Historical Center.
