Description	:	Esther was the youngest of Benjamin Whitear's 16 children. She married John McPhee 9 Sep 1824 at Saint Paul's Anglican Church, Centre Rawdon, Hants, NS,Canada. Eleven of the thirteen children she and John had lived to adulthood. They were William, Mary Ann, Catherine, Benjamin, Martha, Isaac, Sarah, James, John, Joseph, and Robert Lawson.
