Description	:	Conway, S.C......Miss Estherleen Howell, 86, passed away September 30, 2011 at Conway Medical Center peacefully with her immediate family by her side. She was born in Conway on May 30, 1925. Estherleen was the daughter of Jesse McKiever Howell and Carrie N. Cook Howell. Miss Estherleen or "Teen" as all children called her, loved working in her yards and flowers. She also loved looking for shells at Edisto Island, traveling, and scrapbooking. She always loved to help others more than anything else. She was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church for many years where she taught Sunday School, and was on the Fellowship... Read More	Conway, S.C......Miss Estherleen Howell, 86, passed away September 30, 2011 at Conway Medical Center peacefully with her immediate family by her side. She was born in Conway on May 30, 1925. Estherleen was the daughter of Jesse McKiever Howell and Carrie N. Cook Howell. Miss Estherleen or "Teen" as all children called her, loved working in her yards and flowers. She also loved looking for shells at Edisto Island, traveling, and scrapbooking. She always loved to help others more than anything else. She was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church for many years where she taught Sunday School, and was on the Fellowship Committee. After many years of working for the church she was awarded a plaque for all the things that she had done for the church. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, G.C. Leviner; nephew, Jesse C. Leviner; great-niece, Wendy Leviner. She is survived by her sisters, Jessie Maude Howell and Carrie Mae H. Leviner; niece, Judy L. Chestnut and her husband, Butch Chestnut; great-nieces and great- nephews, Kim Harper (Joe), Scott Leviner, Christopher Chestnut (Heather), Nichole Chestnut, Jessica Leviner; great-great nieces and great-great nephew, Kaitlyn Harper, Alana Smith, Darci Chestnut, Grayson Leviner and Claire Chestnut. Special family member, friend and neighbor Gail Leviner. The family would like to extend our thanks to all the wonderful people working on East Critical Care Unit, the Doctors, and Palliative Care that were so special and helpful to the family and Miss Estherleen. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2011night at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel Conway and other times the family will be at her residence on Dongola Highway. The funeral services will be Monday, October 3, 2011 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Richard Krieg and the Rev. Lindsay Brown officiating.
