Description	:	Etha Mae Wiren was born on April 12,1931 in Belinda,Iowa, the daughter of Vernie Wiren and Mary (Abbott) Wiren. She was born raised and lived her entire life on the farm built by her grandfather, Frank Abbott. Etha was united in marriage to Harold Briggs on August 23, 1975 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Knoxville. Etha enjoyed sewing and gardening was an excellent cook. Read More	Etha Mae Wiren was born on April 12,1931 in Belinda,Iowa, the daughter of Vernie Wiren and Mary (Abbott) Wiren. She was born raised and lived her entire life on the farm built by her grandfather, Frank Abbott. Etha was united in marriage to Harold Briggs on August 23, 1975 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Knoxville. Etha enjoyed sewing and gardening was an excellent cook. Etha passed away on Sunday, September 9 ,2012 at the Crystal Heights Care Center in Oskaloosa at the age of 82 years. Etha was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold Briggs and sister, Ethel Wiren Irving. Survivors include her daughter, Judi (Brad) VanHulzen of Pella, plus many step-children , and her sister, Edith (Don) Peden of Alpha,Il. brother in law Thomas Irving, and a niece and nephew, Kim Gillette and Todd Peden of Illinois.
