A retired seamstress, she was born Sept. 16, 1893, in Oskaloosa to John and Jennie Wiley Holdsworth. An Ottumwa resident since 1921, she was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star Chapter 112, White Shrine and Order of Amaranth. She married Clyde E. Pendarvis Oct. 29, 1919, in Oskaloosa. He died in 1959 [sic]. Survivors: son Robert Risney of Ottumwa, eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Service: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Robert Gamble officiating. Burial: Shaul Cemetery. The casket will be closed as the service begins.
