Hart, was born in Clarke county, Oct. 16, 1876, departed this life in Osceola, May 20, 1928, being at the time of her death 52 years, 7 months and 4 days. She was united in marriage to Louis L. Stephenson, Dec. 30, 1896. To this union were born five children, four boys and one girl, all being present at the time of her departure. She grew to womanhood and married in Clarke county where she spent most of her life. She accepted Christ and confessed Him as her Savior in early life uniting with the Methodist Protestant church at Frame on the Osceola circuit where she continued to serve her Lord faithfully, bringing her family up under the influence of the church where she labored until the call came for the well done good and faithful servants. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Louis L. Stephenson, her children Clarence, Louie, Franklin, Gladys and Harold, one brother L. D. Hart of Osceola, five grandchildren; one sister, one brother preceeding her in death, besides a host of friends and other relatives. Rev. B. E. Williams had charge of the funeral services Tuesday at 2:30 p. m. from the home. Interment at Cox cemetery. Stephenson, died at her country home northwest of Osceola, Sunday at 6 A. M. She had been ill several weeks, suffering from a cancerous condition. She is survived by her husband, five children who are grown and an only brother, L. D. Hart, clerk of the district court of Osceola. Funeral services were held from the late home Tuesday at 2 P. M. conducted by Rev. B. B. Williamson and Interment followed in the Cox cemetery.
