Surviving are her husband of the home; three daughters and one son, Mrs. Roland (Mary Ann) Evans, Rogers, Ark., Mrs. Carl (Carolyn) Wells, Germany, Mrs. Peggy Gerwell, Wichita, Robert L. Gerwell, El Dorado; her father, John Gilliland, 1701 S. Edith; eight brothers and sisters, Lester, 1701 S. Edith, James 1803 S. Edith, Mrs. Hazel Moreland, R. 1., Mrs. John (Louise) Caulfield, Coffeyville, Mrs. Jack (Ruth) Daniel, Shawnee, Mrs. Lewis (Marjorie) Thornton, Iola, and Mrs. Lloyd (Jane) Knight, El Dorado; 20 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, two sisters and one brother. Funeral service will be held at the Roy S. Gibson Funeral Home. The time is to be announced. The Rev. Edgar Raines will officiate and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Chanute Tribune Monday, June 1, 1964
