Description	:	Mrs. Ethel Cox passed away at Coolidge hospital in Palmer of a heart attack Thursday, Nov. 10. She was 67 years old. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Ethel Frances Cox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Purdy, was born at Cedar Rapids, Nebraska on March 13, 1888, and died at the Coolidge Hospital in Palmer at the age of 67 years. Death came suddenly from a heart attack. She was married to Walter W. Cox on March 7, 1906. Ten children were born to them. She was preceded in death by an infant son and her husband. They made their home in the Cedar Rapids vicinity until 1912 when they homesteaded on land near Hershey, Nebr. In 1924 they returned to Cedar Rapids, where they remained until Mr. Cox's death in 1949. Mrs. Cox was a member of the Cedar Rapids Baptist church. For many years she devoted her life unselfishly to the service of others. For the past two years she served at the Coolidge hospital where she was happy in her work. She is survived by five sons Francis of Elgin, Ill., Thomas of Bremerton, Wash., Vernon of Palmer, Claude of Casper, Wyo., Ralph of Fullerton; four daughters, Mrs. Martha Faust, Mrs. Lucy Bridgland, and Mrs Donna Bennett of Fullerton, and Mrs. Ruth Hollman of Belgrade. A brother, Manly Purdy of Primrose, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Woten of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, 23 grandchildren and other relatives also survive her.
