Description	:	Ethel Lee "Susie" Wilds Morgan, 79, the widow of Ray Morgan and beloved companion of eighteen years of John Wahlstrom, departed this life Sunday, May 9, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Morgan was born the daughter of Simon Boyd Creel and Ruby Lee Douglas on June 13, 1941 in Georgetown. She was a 50 year plus retired employee with Krystal and was employed with Arby's for 15 years. She enjoyed working, playing games, and going fishing. She is survived by: her daughter, Mary S. Mrs. Morgan was born the daughter of Simon Boyd Creel and Ruby Lee Douglas on June 13, 1941 in Georgetown. She was a 50 year plus retired employee with Krystal and was employed with Arby's for 15 years. She enjoyed working, playing games, and going fishing. She is survived by: her daughter, Mary S. Curtis (Frank); two grandchildren, Ruby N. Ethridge (Patrick) and Ronald D. Coffell; and a great-granddaughter, Marissa L. Ethridge. She is also survived by: two sisters, Peggy C. Warr (Nelson) and Clara C. Gainey (Karl); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by: her parents; her husband, Ray; a grandson, Christopher Brown; a sister, Margaret Zirgess; and six brothers, James Alvin Creel, Cecil Creel, Don Creel, Luke Elbert Creel, Charles "Bo" Creel, and Joseph "Bunk" Creel. A Home Going Celebration will be 1PM, Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Holy Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church. Officiating will be Pastor Tom Brackett and Pastor Becky Tilton. Interment will follow in the Lake Chapel Cemetery directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home. The Morgan and Creel family will receive family and friends prior to the service from 12PM-1PM in the church sanctuary. Due to Covid-19, the family asks that everyone please practice social distancing and facemasks are requested. McKenzie Funeral Home is honored to serve the Morgan and Creel families.
