Ethel Margaret Ogden was born July 9, 1922 in Oakes, ND, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Ogden. She graduated from Oakes High School then attended Jamestown College of Jamestown, ND. She worked at the Ottertail Power Company of Oakes, ND. Ethel moved to Grand Forks where she worked as a secretary for Loft's and Richmond Engineering. She was an organist for St. Michael's Catholic Church of Grand Forks for more than 45 years and a Secretary at St. Michael's Catholic School for more than 25 years. Ethel was also a pianist for the Grand Forks Rotary Club. Ethel was a long-time member of the Twin Forks Chapter of Sweet Adelines and a volunteer with the St. Michael's School music program, the St. Michael's Bridge Builders and the Empire Theater. Ethel "Henrietta Peach" was known for her positive attitude, sense of humor, and being an excellent clown. She loved hosting dinner parties and working with the kids at St. Michael's. She is survived by her daughters, Julie Anne Trapp, Silver Spring, MD, Mary (Greg) Buseman, Pleasanton, CA, Amber (Steve) Zabriskie, Grand Ledge, MI; son, Michael (Ingerid) Mohn, Edina, MN; stepson, John (Kathy) Mohn, Grand Forks, ND; grandchildren, Laura, John, Jennifer, Nicole, Errin, Kelli, Aaron, Casey, Annie and Charlie; great grandchildren, William, Charlie, Augusta, Tucker and Siri; sister-in-law, Edith Lang Ogden and many nieces and nephews. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Mohn in 1973, her first husband, Julius Fiala; sisters, Betty Boulden and Billie Richmond; brother, Bill Ogden and grandson, Jason Trapp. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Friday, August 31, 2012 in St. Michael's Catholic Church of Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with at 7:00 PM Prayer Service in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will continue for the hour before the service in the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery of Grand Forks. Memorial Gifts may be made to St. Michael's School Music Program or the St. Michael's Bridge Builders. Amundson Funeral Home
